Well we have hit the stage where nasty words are FUN and FUNNY! God help us. Especially for Matthew this is a fun thing to do.
Here are his latest:
You are poopoo
You are poopoo diaper rash baby
We don't know where he got this because we don't call them that. I guess it is just the "little boy" in him. Ryan doesn't seem real interested in using those words, but boy oh boy does Matthew enjoy it.
The more I tell him not to say that......the more he LOVES to say it. So now I am trying NOT to make a big deal out of it and ignore him.
As we are visiting churches I just pray he doesn't decide to call a child or an adult,
"Poopoo diaper rash baby".
BOYS!!!! And yes I know this is only the beginning.

Nosey boys

Its been a few weeks since I added to my blog. With the boys' birthday and our anniversary things have been pretty busy.
I have finally found an evening I can share a cute picture with you and tell a funny story.
OK next door is a really cute, little girl(about 9 or 10 years old)named Lexi. The boys LOVE her! A few years ago she really loved them too. Now she tolerates them. They bug her.
Well last weekend Lexi got a new puppy. She is out in her back yard much more these days. Today we were playing outside and the boys heard Lexi. They immediately start calling her. They go up in their fort and try to see her over the fence. Lexi was totally ignoring them. They tell me, "she doesn't hear us?!" They continue to call her.
I look over and they are standing on the fence, peaking through to see Lexi.
It was so cute and a little sad. They just don't understand why she does not want to come play every time they are outside.
And poor Lexi can't go in her backyard without them bugging her.

Spring is here!

Well I do believe SPRING IS HERE! The grass is starting to fill in, flowers are blooming, trees are budding and my allergies are going CRAZY!!! Along with Spring around here is really strange weather. Cold one day, warm the next. Major storms within hours and then calmness. It is a thrill and we delight in the weather changes.
Our red tip photinias are in full bloom.........and they stinks! The butterflies and bees are having a high time around them too. One day last week the boys and I sat near by and watched quietly as the butterflies and bees found this delicious treat. The boys thought this was SO much fun and actually were very quiet. They didn't want to scare the butterflies.
I love nature. I love seeing all the wonderful things God has made. And He gave it all to us! What a blessing it is........Spring is my favorite time of year. It is a time of growth and refreshment to me.
And it also brings the boys' birthday and our anniversary. Maybe that is why I love it so much. Anyway, enjoy your Spring. Plant a tree or some pretty flowers. Watch them grow and don't forget to tell God thank you for this awesome season.

He passed it!

You honestly didn't think we would tell you all about it without a picture of the STONE?!
Well most of you know Brant has been suffering off and on with his kidney stone for a while now. Many visits to the doctors, xrays, CT Scans, etc.
He went yesterday back to the doctor. Before they proceeded to the extraction of the stone they did another Xray and it was gone!! The doctor was baffled and told him to come back in a month and to do another Xray.
Well this morning he passed it! If you are a man you can imagine the relief he is feeling knowing he will not have to go through with "the" procedure. He can tell you ALL about it some time. And believe me he will be more than happy to share.........men!?
Make sure to click on the picture to get a GOOD look at the STONE! OUCH!
