Thanksgiving BOOKS!

They have all arrived!!!  I added five books to our collection this year and am excited to read each and every one.  Amazon is dangerous for me when it comes to books.  Not only can I get them fairly cheap, but I usually can get FREE shipping if I spend $25.  So I snagged five books for $26 and they were shipped to us for free! LOVE! THAT!
Most all of the books will easily grow with the boys.  Curious George will soon be a baby book to them.  But for now it is a fun book with that silly monkey and all his antics.  What I especially like about Curious George and The Berenstain Bears Thanksgiving books are that they do mention and discuss being thankful.
And since that is a big theme for our family this month I was very thankful.
The other books are wonderful books telling the story of the pilgrims and that bountiful feast.
The boys love to sit and look at the pictures, but so enjoy us reading to them too.  They plan to take them on our Thanksgiving trip so Grandmothers, you too, will get the joy of reading to the boys.
Thanksgiving books!

What are some of your favorites?

What a FUN collection of Thanksgiving reading! I don't purchase a lot of books myself, but we get library reads every week. I am planning on looking for Thanksgiving/Pilgrim themes this week too ♥ ENJOY ~ reading to your children is so good for them and so satisfying!

We just read two real fun thanksgiving books. It is called a Plump and perky turkey and The day before Thanksgiving. They are full of turkey fun and my kiddos think they are just too funny:>
