School is officially out for the holidays! We had planned to have school this week, but over the weekend I changed my mind. Ahhhh, the beauty of homeschooling.
It was a s l o w day around here yesterday. And it was so nice.
And I actually did not get up until 6:30 yesterday and this morning I was up at 6:00. Folks that is an hour later for me and it felt good. Of course I woke up starting around 4:30, but made myself lay there and go back to sleep. Apparently my body needed it!
Although we will be off for the next three weeks I will be busy preparing for the holidays. This week we will work on Christmas crafts, baking, our Christmas Jar memories and yes enjoying the time off. Oh and SHOPPING! I am so behind.
I look forward to sharing some of our crafts, craziness and FUN memories with you. But what I most look forward to is STOPPING to focus on what this time of year is really all about for us. No excuses!
It is time to slow down and really focus on this miracle that God gave us.

What a sweet nativity and so kid friendly ♥ It is nice to have a break from school isn't it? Ours hasn't started yet, but it's coming... I too am hoping to finish up crafts and do baking this week ~
