Scrumptious Saturdays-Hershey's Bar Pie

This has been around for years in our family.  Only because me and my sisters worked at a little restaurant in our home town that had some great recipes.  This is one of them.  So to give credit where credit is due this recipe is from "Someplace Special".......we all worked there during our high school days.

Very simple to make and oh so scrumptious.

So here is what you will need:

Graham cracker pie shell
6 Hershey's Bars with almonds
1/2 cup almonds
2 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate
1 large Cool Whip
(the pie crust can be made or you can buy a 9 inch pre-made graham cracker crust pie shell....I made mine that is why you see a stick of butter!)

Break up the six Hershey's bars and two baking squares in a microwavable bowl and melt together.

This was the hardest part......I didn't sneak one bite!

Once melted add the almonds(I used sliced, but you could do whatever you prefer)and almost all of the large Cool Whip.  I save just enough to put a dollop on each slice later.
Mix all together until well incorporated(that means mixed really good!).  Pour in your pie shell and freeze.   That's it!  You're done.

Frozen goodness!  A little chocolate fluff of Heaven with a graham cracker crust!  I personally like to set it out for a bit to get a little soft.  It is so good and perfect for this HOT weather.

So what are you making that is scrumptious for this holiday weekend?  Drop me a line and let me know.  I still need some ideas.

Have FUN, be safe and get outside!!!  If you do get outside make sure to drink plenty of water.
