Amazing how your life can be turned upside down in just a few days.
This pipe has "likely" had that hole from day one of building our home. This pipe is a kitchen drain pipe. So you can imagine after years and years(December will be 12 years)of use in a kitchen it was filled up! Not to mention that IF this was from the beginning, when the house was being built, concrete was poured right over that hole. So the concrete, grease and I am sure small particles of food were all stopping it up.
Some additional damage was done, but I will hold off on going into all that until we speak to some professionals this week.
Today I will spend my day waiting on plumbings, foundation specialists and the city to come and inspect this mess.
I am sick of talking about it, sick of dealing with it and need a break!!!!
Oh and prayers if you will!
But did want to give an update because I am certain there is someone out there waking up this morning anxious to know what happened.
I will devote the rest of my week to posts that are uplifting, FUN, maybe some crafts and even a recipe or two.......maybe, but NO baking. It is going to be too HOT!
For now I look at this.

Oh Tasha! I am so sorry for your continued pipe trouble. I just hate messy ongoing projects!!! Hang in there.
It looks terribly HOT there in TX. I will remember not to complain with our 90ish temps:)
This week we have been declaring war on WEEDS in the garden and have hauled away many wheelbarrow loads, but it looks so amazing now, like we really care about it ♥ That is my big project for the week ~ making my garden shine...
