Happy Tuesday!!!!!!
I am still here!!!! It was a busy weekend and Monday for me. I am trying to get back in the routine of everything. Including starting a new one.....SUMMER SCHOOL started today!!!! And just FYI summer school is extremely laid back and full of lots of FUN! I'll share more about that later.
With summer just a few weeks away I thought I needed a change for my blog. How do you like it? Bright and FUN!!! But I need help! See the grey color around all my labels? I can't figure out how to change that to ONE color. Everytime I think I am changing the color to what I like, it ends up being two different colors. Any of you smart computer-blog people want to help me? Leave me a comment or contact me.
For now I wanted to share a simple summer flower arrangement with you. Daisies and Lemons......need I say more. So fresh, happy, delightful, bright, cheerful...all things that make me smile!!!
Sunday my niece, Maddie, graduated from high school. She actually completed all her credits back in February. And at the age of sixteen!!! But on Sunday she got to walk with her class and do the whole cap and gown thing.
Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting her party here at our home. It was the easiest party I have ever had!!! We did cook the brisket, but Maddie's parents took care of everything else.
Saturday morning I helped my sister make arrangements for all the tables. I had seen a similar version of what we made on that "pin" site, which by the way I do not know how to do(or care to learn)and really do not have the time for it anyway!
the one from that pin site |
On each table for the we placed two jars. YES, jars!!! You know my love for jars. Mason jars, pickle jars, jelly jars.....JARS, JARS...I love jars!!!! So needless to say we had plenty of jars to use.
I totally forgot to get any pictures of the party all set up, but did remember to take pictures of all the jars before the party. Look how simple and sweet these turned out.
These are such a simple, summery arrangements. I love the one I saw on Pinterest, but I adore the daisies!!!!
After the party I was blessed with keeping lots of the daisies. All over our home I am greeted with these sweet little arrangements.
I can't wait to have a party and make up my own versions! White daisies with limes, burlap and green ribbon. Yellow daises with lemons, burlap and white ribbon. Oh the ideas are endless and scream SUMMER!!!!
