Update!
We are alive and well!!! We have been here in SE Texas a little over two weeks. Sorry for such a long delay in updating....just trying to wrap my head around ALL the changes!!!!
Here are a few things going on with us:
-Dairy Queen is a new favorite for the boys. OK me too! Did you know they have Blizzard Cakes now?!?! And yes we have tried one!
-the boys are enjoying their new clubhouse (new to them...it was actually me and my sisters' "playhouse" when we were little. Needless to say it is an OLD clubhouse)
-Right now I am preparing for school (we do not start until after Labor Day). Curriculum has already arrived and more to come soon. 2nd grade WILL happen, one way or another!!!!
-Brant is busy with work and establishing his business in these parts.
-I enjoyed a salon visit for a new cut and color.
-the boys adore my parents two miniature schnauzers-Henry and Hildy (Arthur does NOT enjoy them, but being a good sport.....benefits of a blind dog).
-the weather is much cooler than Fort Worth, but we are dealing with major humidity....we are in the arm pit of Texas!
-we all are loving being close to lots of family!
-BUT we all miss family and friends back in Fort Worth!!!!!!
It has been raining here since early this morning. Matthew is not feeling well so we are just going to hang around the house. Maybe we'll do a little math and reading.
A nap is always good on a rainy day. And then coffee in the afternoon.
I hope where ever you are today on this FRIDAY you make it a FUN day! My mind is working on something FUN for this evening if Matthew is feeling better.
If it is not raining in your neck of the woods get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. If it is raining, grab an umbrella.
