One day at a time.....: Time to move on.......

If you read my blog yesterday you'll remember how I talked about how warm it has been here in Texas lately.

And I talked about how I refuse to go back to wearing shorts or capri pants. I will however wear jeans and flip flops (when I am not bare foot!)......probably my favorite thing to wear! And as I stated on FB,

"If it is going to be warm enough to go bare foot or wear flip flops in DECEMBER you better bet my toes will be festive and sparkly!"

Anyway all that being said I am moving on regardless of what the temperature is outdoors!!!

Monday morning it was time to say good-bye to my sweet acorns. They have sat in this container on the front porch for a couple of months. Most, if not all, have fallen from the tree and we have gathered every last one!! Now it is time to give them back to nature and to the squirrels!!!

So me and the boys took handfuls and threw them out all over the yard. Hopefully the hundreds of squirrels around here will come have a feast and plan for their winter........if there is one in Texas this year!
