FUN Friday-A Basketball Game, A Piano and A Guest Post

The boys are off to their last day of basketball camp.  I'll go in a little while to watch them play.  This week they have been at Upward Basketball Camp.  They have had a great time learning more about basketball as well as learning more about how God created us in His image.

This morning parents are invited to come see what their child/children learned, to meet the coaches and watch them actually play a game.  The boys were super excited because they get to play a "championship" as they called it and bring home the ball they have been playing with all week.

I am sure this will set off a plea to play Upward Basketball on a team, but that may have to wait since they will likely be taking piano lessons this fall/winter.

We bought a piano.  We came across a well loved piano looking for a new home.  We could not pass it up.  Makes for a rather eclectic TV stand, but we are rather eclectic anyway.  I can't believe we have a piano in this little old house, but it actually fits!

I say when the walls are closing in on you make music!

And last, but certainly not least guess what I am sharing over at Texas Women Bloggers ?  I'll give you a hint, it's recipe using a certain fruit.  They are juicy, at the peak of their ripeness and I have a neighbor that keeps giving them to us.  Hop on over to see the recipe I am sharing today.

How fun! My grandsons played Upwards Basketball for a couple of years and loved it. We loved going to their games too. My grand daughter was an upwards cheerleader! Love that the boys will be taking piano lessons. Music is such a fun thing and also a major help with math skills! Off to check out your guest post!
