I am sure you've heard it before.......your children talking about "little things" they remember. Little things you had totally forgot about. This summer I am trying to stop (as life goes on all around me) and document through pictures the little things.
An unexpected cool morning to enjoy the park.
A front row seat to watch your street being repaved. A little boys dream: BIG trucks, street sweepers, dump trucks, front end loaders, pavers, police cars and tow trucks! Yes, they towed cars off the street.
Attacking brother for a little 4th of July FUN!
The stomach pain from the SLIP-n-SLIDE!
Almost completely dry in a pool of water!
The boys' first trip to a fireworks store.
Daddy explaining how everything works/fireworks safety.
Sparkles at dusk.
Lighting fireworks!
The Black Snake of Summer 2013!
**We bought a pack of kid-friendly fireworks. All were low to the ground for kids. The boys LOVED them all.**
Remembering the Grand Finale!!
And a walk on the river front.
It's all about the little things. Now don't get me wrong BIG things are a BIG deal. But it doesn't take much to make a memory. And for children little things ARE a BIG deal!
What will you remember from Summer 2013?

LOVE these pictures!! Especially the one of the boys watching the road being repaved and the one of your hubby teaching firework safety. Too sweet! So glad you guys had a good fourth and glad your documenting the action shots of your summer. Such a sweet post, Tasha!
