Today is December 21st just days before Christmas and we enjoyed temperatures in the 80s today.
The boys ended up with shorts on, running around in flip flops or bare foot and playing outside most of the day.
MiMi amd Pawpaw arrived yesterday. Matthew had been planning for their arrival and I had strict instructions they were to sign in when they got here. He had me make a sign in sheet for the Christmas party(eating and opening gifts). As Mimi and Pawpaw entered our home they had to sign in.
The party got under way last night and we enjoyed good food and time together.

I am happy about that. It just seems more like Christmas to me with cooler temps. But in Texas you just never know.
There is a saying here in Texas.......If you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change.
And tomorrow it will.........deep in the heart of Texas.

Love it!!! The anticipation is so much fun! This year, I plan to start a tradition of asking my kids on Christmas, "Since it's Jesus' birthday we are celebrating, what do you plan to give him for His birthday throughout this next year?" As for me, I'm planning to give Him more of my time and the central place He deserves in my life and the life of my family.
Hope you're feeling much better dear friend!
Talk to you soon!
Love the sign in sheet ♥ Heat & Sun is terribly hard to imagine. It's been barely 40 degrees here with buckets of rain pouring down!!! Enjoy that Texas sun and the time with your lovely family ♥ Hugs from Oregon, Kelsey
