I was up in the wee hours of the day with a sick boy. After that I decided to let everyone sleep in. And we are taking an early break from school for the holiday.
Life is slow today and we all like it.
All the guys finally got up, we all got dressed and made our way to Hobby Lobby. Have I told you how much I LOVE that store?!?!
We went to get my supplies for our first real Advent calendar. I am so excited about making one. I decided I would keep it simple. I have been searching the internet for weeks trying to decide what I would make. How I would make one. So many ideas I saw had to do with sewing. And where I can sew a little I don't have a sewing machine. So I went another route on my project.

Looks like FUN! I really like that tree paper:) I had great plans of sending out handmade Thanksgiving cards this year... obviously it's a little late. Maybe I should shop for some Christmas paper:) Happy creating ♥
