A little tart, a little sweet and a whole lot of YUMMY!!!
These bars are very much like the Pink Lemonade Pie I have shared before. And will be sharing again soon! The only difference is the crust. Pink Lemonade Pie has a graham cracker crust and this was with flour, powered sugar and butter.
I will say this crust gets super hard once frozen where the graham cracker crust does not. I simply cut the bars and sat it out for a few minutes. The boys couldn't wait for it to soften a little and devoured it within seconds.
That pink filling is to SCREAM for!!!!! I had to stop myself from eating it by the spoonfuls while making the bars!!!

Frozen Pink Lemonade Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup powered sugar
1 stick of butter
13 oz whipped topping....I used Cool Whip for this recipe.
1(14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1(6 oz)can frozen pink lemonade concentrate
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F Lightly grease (I use a non-stick spray)a 9x13 baking pan.
Melt the stick of butter.
Combine flour, sugar, and melted butter in the baking pan. Begin to press into the pan to form the dough....it will look like there is not enough, but keep working to press it all out to the edges. It will work. Bake in oven for 8-10 minutes or until brown. Cool.
Combine whipped topping, condensed milk, and lemonade and pour
over crust.
Freeze until firm. Cut into bars and
serve!
Topping ideas:
-a dollop of whipped topping and a strawberry or raspberry on top.
-Puree raspberries and drizzle over lemonade mixture before freezing. Use knife to create a
swirled pattern.
**Hint-if you want your bars a darker pink just use red food coloring to create the color you are looking for.

I have made your lemonaide pie before and it is great! We have some outside work to do this weekend and it is supposed to be almost 90* here...I think these will be a PERFECT and COOL treat!
