Boy oh boy am I glad it is FRIDAY!! It has been a l o n g week!! BUT it is Friday today!! And the rain has stopped.
It has been raining for days! But today the sun is going to come out and there is NO rain in the forecast!!! Can I get another woo hoo?
WOO HOO!!!!!!!
But it is due back starting this weekend. Possible showers tomorrow and then Sunday LOTS of rain and colder temps (homemade chicken noodle soup on the menu, thank you very much!).
Soooooo, today after school/baking class we are headed outdoors for a nature walk!!!! We have been stuck in the house all week and much of last weekend so this is just what we ALL need!
About the baking class. When they boys were younger and we started homeschooling I always had activities for us to do in the kitchen.......during school. They apparently remember it well and begged to start having a cooking class again. And suggested we make COOKIES!
So I must do what any good Momma/baker would do and teach these boys how to make cookies. We will make an easy recipe of tea cookies and off we go on a nature walk!

We are going on a nature walk today too! 70 degrees! sunny!! It was beautiful here too, so I took Hudson and Crew to the zoo! It was perfect!
Rain, Snow Showers, and Cold here in our neck of the woods, but I am thankful for the cold because my fridge went out last week and it's cold enough to keep all the food on the porch till we figure out the problem:) Have a lovely walk and happy cookie baking ♥
