Now let's just get this out in the open right in the beginning here, this is NOT a homemade cookie pizza!
There I said.
I know shameful, right? Shameful maybe, but this is a FUN pizza!!! And parties call for fun not to mention quick and easy treats. And although I truly feel homemade is best for my family there are times I take short cuts. Birthday parties are one. It allows me to have things done in a hurry and concentrate on more important things. Like decorating outside so I can see the smiles on their faces.
Cookie PizzaIngredients:
1 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 cup M and Ms
1/2 cup chopped Snickers Bar
1/3 cup mini-marshmallows
-Preheat oven to 350.
-On a lightly floured surface, knead the cookie dough into a ball. Transfer the ball to the cookie sheet (I use a pizza pan) and roll into a circle, flouring the rolling pin if needed. Score the dough into "pizza" wedges using a the tip of a knife. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
-Remove from oven and top with M&Ms, Snickers and marshmallows. Return to oven and bake for another 7 minutes to soften candy.
-To serve cut into "pizza" wedges.
Kids and adults alike love this!!!
About to go back in to soften candies and make marshmallows YUMMY! |
At the last minute I added just a few butterscotch chips and changed the amount of marshmallows and mini chocolate chips. You can add whatever and however much you like.
Hope you all have a great day. Now I am off to make little boys smile and laugh. Enjoy!
