I never remember playing with Barbie and Skipper like the boys play with their dolls.
I never remember Ken talking mean and killing people. My Barbie, Skipper and Ken went on trips in their airplane and ship. They had pleasant trips full of fun times. They had bikes to ride and a pink corvette to go gallivanting around town in. And when they were home they had a THREE story house with an elevator!!! And a swimming pool in the back yard. Countless outfit changes. And talk about the shoes!!!! A girl's dream!
Such was the life.
Now I am surrounding by shootings, car crashes, jumping from tall buildings and castles. Mean, rough talk and guys being killed often. Airplanes and helicopters crashing. Batman is no longer good either.
How do little boys just have this in them? OK maybe I should ask.......do all little boys have this in them? Are they just born with this type of nature?
Or is it just our boys?
Even this morning in the grocery store I was being protected by the boys as they had their guns to hunt and kill the bad guys in the store. Running down the aisles and shooting anyone that made a move. As soon as someone noticed them though they were right by my side and super shy.
It is non stop and nothing like playing with Barbie dolls.
